Dr. Groves is a native of Maryland but considers South Carolina home.  After growing up in Baltimore, she followed her two older brothers to Clemson University.  In 2001, she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in psychology.

In 2007, Dr. Groves received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina where she also was a teaching assistant in oral immunobiology.  She completed her orthodontics residency at Saint Louis University in 2009.  There she obtained a Masters of Science in Dentistry and a specialty certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She also enjoyed a teaching fellowship granted by Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Boyd is delighted to welcome Dr. Groves into the practice where she shares Dr. Boyd's love of learning and stays at the forefront of new and better techniques that benefit our patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Groves loves running, cooking, (attempting) home improvement projects, and of course, watching Tiger football!
