Cephalometric x-rays are used by Dr. Boyd to make angular and linear measurements of a patient's hard and soft tissue utilizing various landmarks. Examples include the angles of the teeth in relation to the skull and jaw structures and the assessment of the facial profile. Each patient's measurements are compared to normal values.
