A term referring to a problem in the jaw joint. Symptoms may include popping and clicking of one or both jaw joints, temporal headaches, neck aches, soreness in the jaw joint, soreness in the jaw muscles and a partial inability to open or close the mouth. TMJ problems may sometimes be associated with a malocclusion.
